• Age must be between 20-and 25 years.

Selection Process

Male and female candidates who want to join Pak Army and also serve their country would have to clear all steps of the selection procedure. If they fail to do so they will be rejected for the job. The selection process to join Pak Army has the following steps:

• Online registration at www.joinpakarmy.gov.p.k
• A physical endurance test will be taken at the concerned center.
• Shortlisted candidates would be called for the initial test.
• After clearing the test, candidates will be interviewed.
• Medical examination would be taken at concerned Army hospitals.
• Shortlisted candidates will get their initial training.
• Final selection will be made on merit and the overall performance of the candidate.

Documents Required at AS&RC

Following documents will be required at Army Selection and Recruitment Center.

• Original certificate with detailed Marks Sheet of Matric/FA/FSc or Equivalent.
• Computerized National identity Card for 18 years and above.
• Computerized Form “B” along with Guardian’s Computerized National Identity Card.(Father or Mother) for less than 18 years of age.
• One set of attested photocopies of above mentioned documents.
• 3 x Passport size colored photos duly attested (front and back) by Gazette Officer.
• Original as well as one photocopy of the “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter by ISSB are also required for “Repeater Candidates”.

Ineligibility Criteria

Candidates who do not fit or fulfill the requirements for the desired job will not be accepted for that post in Pakistan Army. So, all the interested candidates are duly requested to check the details thoroughly before applying for a job in Pak Army. Here are the mentioned categories under which a candidate becomes ineligible for the job:

• Twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board or once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board.
• Once rejected by ISSB for intermediate/Graduate (PMA/Graduate).
• Withdraw from any academic/training institution of the Armed Forces on any level.
• Withdraw from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution or disciplinary grounds
• Tested within one year validity period (as the validity of ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board stands for one year) for recommended candidates.
• Tested Four months (120 days) from last ISSB appearance (for candidates who were rejected by ISSB).
• Dismissed/Removed/Resigned from Government service including all the Armed Forces.
• Convicted by a court of law for offense or violence.
• Declared medically unfit by an Armed Forces Appeal Medical Board.
• Declared unfit by Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board
• Submitting forged original academic certificate.
• Hiding the information in the application forms.
• Thrice screened out by Army/Navy/Air Force during preliminary selection.
